Step back in time with this stunning vintage jewelry - a mid century Juliana necklace by Delizza & Elster, featuring scooped out Hematite stones, open back topaz crystal navettes, and shimmering Aurora Borealis chaton accents. The combination of rich earthy tones and iridescent hues creates a truly unique and elegant design that perfectly captures the essence of mid century glamour. The necklace measures 15 1/2 inches long and closes with a hook clasp, the front focal measures 2 1/4 inches wide X 2 inches height. This beautiful necklace was first seen in the D&E Design books in 1961 and in Flying Saucers magazine in 1963. The necklace is verified in the Juliana Jewelry Reference Book by Ann Pitman on page 188.
This necklace is fabulous, there is one small scratch on the center hematite stone but this is very small, there is also some minimal wear of the gold plating on the underside of the necklace. All stones are intact and all sparkle beautifully.
